Hello all! First off sorry for the lack of posts around here as of late
. Adrian and I have been really busy with "real life" if you know what I mean. Anyways enough have that, lets get right to the review...RAM, perhaps the single most important item in your computer. Without enough RAM your system bogs down when running large applications, multiple applications and games. Its amazing when I think back to my early gaming days and remember when 64MB of RAM was great and now today we need a minimum of 2 Gig to do anything worth while.
In today's review we are going to go over Patriot Memory's Extreme Performance Viper Series Low Latency 2 GIG DDR2 RAM kit.

By popular request today we are going to take Adrian's wonderful Clean Login Box Tutorial made in
Adobe Photoshop and translate it into a functional HTML/CSS website. Now since this is only a tutorial we will not be covering how to make it a fully functional login. This will be a working mock up to display different CSS techniques. The functionality may be covered down the road with a CMS or PHP tutorial.
You can use pretty much and client for coding this that you want. I myself am going to be using Zend Studio for Eclipse, although this does not mean you have to be. Use any editor you can comfortable with, hell you could even use notepad (duh).

Lets face it having proper backup storage when your a designer/developer is extremely important.
How many times now have you lost or flattened a .psd that a client has requested. Or how many times now have you had a hard drive disc completely fail on you and the files are totally un-recoverable!
As an avid gamer and hardware enthusiast I have had the chance to experience many different hardware items. It is my pleasure to bring my experiences to you and review the latest hardware that I get my hands on. I will break these reviews down into a few categories which will develop over time as I write more reviews.

Wow it has been a fair bit since my last blog post on Adrian's wonderful site.
(Sorry about that everyone. Adrian and I have been very very busy as of late.) But today I would like to cover why use PHP instead of other scripting languages. Because its the Best and every other language sucks! Of course I am just kidding! But on a serious note, why should you choose PHP over Perl, Ruby on Rails or ASP?
Simplicity and ease of coding. PHP for all its power is a fairly simple scripting language. It's basics can be learned in one weekend with a text viewer and a server. A simple cross platform server is brought to us by Apache Friends called XAMPP. It contains PHP, Apache, MySQL and many other useful plugins which allow you to run a server in any environment.

Yes as we all know it... JavaScript sucks!
It's been around since the dawn of time and it's slow even on "optimized" web browsers. Most of the time it doesn't even make sense, especially at 2 or 3 am the night before a project is due and your scrambling to try and get things done! But wait...there is light at the end of the tunnel: Enter jQuery.
This little gem simplifies JavaScript programming, while increasing speed and usability of the code. It works across multiple browsers, it has a light foot print, and is CSS3 compliant! Everything good so far it seems. But let's look a bit deeper.

So why do we give a damn about who controls the internet?
Why are we so passionate about how our traffic is filtered and viewed? This is another technical rant that you guys will totally relate too, especially Comcast and Virgin customers. I will apologize in advance if you like your torrents and games running slow and lagged but I know I sure don't!...heh.
Because the internet was founded with the principle of access to data and neutrality. All packets should have the same priority as each other, regardless if they are Bit Torrent, HTML, VoIP or SSL. Don't you guys agree?
