By popular request today we are going to take Adrian's wonderful Clean Login Box Tutorial made in
Adobe Photoshop and translate it into a functional HTML/CSS website. Now since this is only a tutorial we will not be covering how to make it a fully functional login. This will be a working mock up to display different CSS techniques. The functionality may be covered down the road with a CMS or PHP tutorial.
You can use pretty much and client for coding this that you want. I myself am going to be using Zend Studio for Eclipse, although this does not mean you have to be. Use any editor you can comfortable with, hell you could even use notepad (duh).

Yes another Photoshop tutorial! What can I say I am on a roll.
I was starting to feel bad I guess, promising to post some and I never got around to it. This tutorial would range in the intermediate skill level so everyone should be able to keep up without any issues. Really the only tricky thing to make here is the ribbon.
In today's tutorial I will be teaching you how to create a clean, simple, and professional looking login box design. This type of login box could be used for many different things such as: websites, software, web applications, etc. It is very easy to change the colors and so on, which makes it very customizable for whatever you need it to work with.

After posting my Over The Top Shadows Photoshop Tutorial, and it being really rather easy.
I thought I would post another one that required a little more skill, but not enough to scare anyone away. Last year I made a Template in Photoshop named Softblue. I had a number of people ask how to make it, or something similar so I thought I would post this so keep reading to find out how it's made!
Softblue was originally made as a personal portfolio website, with a blog/small community. You can use it for something like this, or modify it and use it for whatever you want. modifying it is rather easy, even changing the colors. But it you run into any problems post them in the comments and I will help you out.

This is a rather easy Adobe Photoshop tutorial that produces a nice overhead perspective shadow effect.
One of the best features is it's very customizable, easy to change the angle and depth of the shadow. To get started you will need to find an image that you would want to apply the effect too. Remember that this image must be taken with a overhead perspective view. It also must be rendered off it's original background perfectly, no white edges!
Ok, so if you are reading this tutorial you must be somewhat new to Photoshop. With that said if you don't know how to render a image you can use this one I used for the tutorial. But for the future you should polish up on your Pen tools, the Pen tool is great for cutting out images.
